The workplace issues arising out of the coronavirus outbreak can be complex. There are so many changes to keep up with & so many scenarios that differ from business to business. The Fair Work ombudsman is offering a Workplace Legal Advice Program to help employers deal with these issues so they may get back to the important job of running their business.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?
It provides eligible employers free & confidential independent legal advice from law firms with specialist workplace experience to deal with workplace issues arising from Coronavirus, such as:
WHO CAN ACCESS THE PROGRAM?
Employers who contact the Coronavirus hotline on 13 13 94 or make an online enquiry via your Fair work Ombudsman account may be referred to the program. You will need to meet the following criteria:

Please note the advice is limited to a fixed amount, usually 4 hours to help you deal with the immediate needs of your business. The law firm will advise you what your free service limit is when they contact you.
